REFERRALS TO SECONDARY CARE

Referrals to secondary care require an appointment with the GP. The receptionist will then arrange an appointment through an online referral system. You will be able to select two hospitals that you would prefer to attend. If an online appointment is not available the receptionist will send your referral via internal mail and you will be sent an appointment through the post. If you wish to go private then you will need to arrange this appointment yourself and inform the receptionist of the details for the consultant and the hospital which you have chosen.
